A six-year programme, starting in grade 6
Your child can answer it. Can they explain it?
Global Scholar runs alongside school, not instead of it. Most homework apps measure whether a box got ticked. This one measures something harder to fake: whether your child can explain the idea out loud, to someone who keeps asking why, and have the explanation hold up.
No cost, no advertising, and nothing about your child is sold or used to train anything.
A topic only fills in because your child explained it. Never because they ticked a box.
That single rule is what makes the rest of it trustworthy. A score that cannot be earned by guessing is a score you can act on.
Three ways in, because the three people who use Global Scholar need different things from it.
New here? A parent creates the account first, then the child signs in with a username the parent chose. Children never sign up with an email address.
How an evening actually goes
Twenty five minutes on an ordinary Tuesday, start to finish.
Two jobs, not twelve
You set the term's agenda. When your child opens Global Scholar after dinner, that is what they see: the two things you asked for, and nothing competing for their attention.
How much is left in the tank
They say whether they are charged, okay, low or rough. That sets the size of the evening, never whether it happens. A rough night is three easy ones and a note to tomorrow.
They explain it back
Answering questions is the easy half. Your child explains the idea out loud to an AI classmate who is politely unconvinced, and who keeps asking until the explanation either holds or cracks.
You get their own words
Not a dashboard of green ticks. What moved, what slipped, one sentence your child actually said, and the thing they told us did not click.
Six years, built one at a time
Global Scholar is designed to run from grade 6 through grade 11. Grade 6 is finished and open. Everything after it is labelled for what it actually is, because a programme that oversells its own readiness is the first thing a parent should distrust.
What grade 6 covers today
Seven subjects mapped against the Texas standards. Ninety eight topics, every one of them with a written lesson behind it rather than something generated the moment your child clicks.
Browse the whole curriculum, with the standards code against each topic. No sign in needed.
What Global Scholar will not do
Worth knowing before you decide, rather than after.
- It will not do the homework
- There is no tool anywhere in Global Scholar that answers a question for your child, and none that can mark a topic as mastered. Not for them, not for you, not for an AI assistant holding a token.
- It will not flatter a bad week
- A score that goes up when nothing was learned is worse than no score. If the explanation was thin, it is graded thin, and you see that.
- It will not replace the classroom
- It is built to sit alongside school. The later years are not built yet, and the page says so rather than quietly filling the gap.
- It will not sell your child
- The record belongs to your family. You choose which assistants may read it, and you can revoke any of them in one click.
Set the term, then get out of the way.
Setting up takes about five minutes: your child's name, their grade, and the two things this term is for.
